Our Funds
While most investors are focused solely on the quality of investment returns, there are precious few mutual fund products available to fulfill this need. The majority of mutual fund companies simply invite investors to compare their fund performance relative to index performance. With Lakeview mutual funds, we are aiming to meet this need for absolute return and exceed investors' expectations for capital growth and protection.
Every Lakeview mutual fund meets the following four criteria:
- Absolute return focus. Our portfolios are focused on protecting and growing capital. We aim to provide strong absolute returns instead of simply aiming to outperform relative to a benchmark.
- Capital protection. Through the use of stop losses, we will not hold stocks that have lost ground and fallen below their pre-determined target price.
- Defensive use of cash. Our portfolio managers use cash tactically to protect portfolio value during periods of market weakness.
- Nimble. We have identified capacity limits for each of our funds to ensure they do not get to a size where it becomes difficult to generate returns.
