Terms of Access

My first use of any of the services will act as my acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions herein (as amended from time to time) and my acceptance of any other term, condition or restriction applicable in respect of the services. Lakeview may change the Terms and Conditions of Use at any time without notice by updating this posting. I agree to review the Terms and Conditions of Use periodically, and continued access to or use of Web-Based Services will mean that I agree to any changes.

Responsibilities of Access

I shall be the only authorized user of the Services under this Agreement and shall only use the Services for my personal, non-commercial purposes. I shall be responsible for the confidentiality and use of my password(s) and other security data, methods and devices. I understand that I shall be solely responsible for use of any data, information or services obtained using my password(s) and other security data. I accept full responsibility for the monitoring of my account. Abuse of Access

I will not attempt to enter restricted areas of Lakeview’s computer system or the computer systems of any entity related to or affiliated with CI or perform functions that I am not authorized to perform pursuant to this Agreement. Lakeview may, without notice, suspend my access to the Services by deactivating my password(s) if Lakeview reasonably suspects that I am using the password(s) to obtain unauthorized access to other systems or information, or using the password(s) in any other inappropriate manner. These suspensions will be for a period of time necessary to permit the thorough investigation of such suspended activity. Lakeview may terminate this Agreement immediately without notice if it is determined that I have undertaken such unauthorized activity or if such unusual activity cannot be reasonably explained.

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties

I understand that Lakeview will not be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or use of any information received by it or received by me through the services and that Lakeview does not make any warranty concerning such information.

I agree and acknowledge that Lakeview may modify any or all of the services at any time. I also agree that the services may periodically be unavailable to me in order to allow for maintenance and updates.

This Agreement is in addition to and not in substitution for any other present or future agreement between Lakeview and myself, including any agreement relating to my Lakeview Account or the services.

Grant of License By You

By submitting any information or content to CI, or engaging in any other form of communication on the website or through services on the website (collectively, " Submissions "), you grant to us and our affiliates a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide right and license (and all rights to sublicense) to: use, store, copy, sublicense, modify, adapt, edit, publish, translate, create derivative works from, transmit, distribute, publicly and privately perform and display any such communication (in whole or in part) and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, format, media, or technology now known or later developed; provided, however, that with respect to personally identifiable information, this license shall not apply and CI shall comply with the terms set forth in the Privacy Policy. Investments by the Funds in The Bank of Nova Scotia, CI Financial Corp. and other Related Companies

The mutual funds managed by CI have received permission from the Canadian securities regulators to invest in securities of The Bank of Nova Scotia, CI Financial Corp. and other Related Companies (each a “Related Company”). In connection with such investments, CI has established an independent review committee (the “IRC”) comprised of William Harding, Stuart P. Hensman, Christopher M. Hopper and Sharon M. Ranson.
